The study for the Detailed Regulation Plan of a part of the Zrenjanin Road, which has been put up for early public review, envisages the expansion of this traffic route, which the residents of Borca have been hoping for for a long time now. However, in addition to this entry direction to Belgrade on the north side, other traffic routes at the entrance to the capital of Belgrade also need to have their capacities extended, in order to reduce the traffic jams. The Belgrade Land Development Public Agency has confirmed for eKapija that something similar is planned for the Surcin and the Batajnica Road, whereas activities on the Avala and the Smederevo Road are not planned for now.

– The Belgrade Land Development Public Agency is carrying out activities toward the realization of Vojvodjanska and Surcinska streets from the T-6 road to the highway bypass route in line with the Detailed Regulation Plan for Vojvodjanska and Surcinska streets from the T-6 road to the highway bypass route – phase I, from the T-6 route to the traffic route which connects said traffic route with the Nikola Tesla Airport – they responded.

As they add, they've initiated the procedures of property division and amendments to the land register at the Republic Geodetic Authority, to the end of forming the construction parcels. After the procedures at the RGA are completed, the conditions will meet for the preparation of the study for the resolution of property-legal relations and the further activities to the end of construction of the Surcin Road.

When it comes to the Batajnica Road, that is, the Old Novi Sad Road, in 2020, the Belgrade Land Development Public Agency plans to initiate public procurement procedures for the preparation of the technical documentation for the construction of the Batajnica Road with the infrastructure, in the length of around 2,000 m2 between Ciglana and Batajnica.

– In the past period, procedures of forming the building parcel for the expansion of the Batajnica Road have been carried out at the relevant land register service, and the activities toward resolving the property-legal relations along the traffic route are currently in progress – the agency says and adds that the program of development and allocation of building land does not entail activities toward the realization of the Avala and the Smederevo Road.
