The Lastar Winery from Rekovac is continuing to expand its own plantations of the Tamjanika grape variety. The new plantations take up 1.2 hectares, and last year, the grape variety was planted on 2.5 ha.

– Considering the great success of Lastar Tamjanika, pronounced the best Tamjanika in Serbia, we decided to expand our own plantations. We believe that quality wines are made at vineyards and that is why the Lastar Winery is oriented to its own plantations, where it has total control over all the operations in the vineyard – the winery says for eKapija.

They add that their plan is for the works on the tourist part of the Lastar Winery facility to be completed this year, which is important for the winery itself and the wine tourism of the Levacko Vinogorje area.

– Furthermore, we are also preparing for the new harvest, which we hope will meet our expectations – they say.
