Slovenia is the first European country to declare the end of the coronavirus epidemic, Hina reports.

At a phone conference this Thursday, the Slovenian government declared the end of the epidemic.

The National Institute for Public Health has estimated that all the indicators show that the spreading of coronavirus has slowed down. In the past 14 days, there's been a total of 35 new infection cases.

The first confirmed infection in Slovenia was recorded on March 4.

By May 13 there were 1,464 cases of infection, and 103 died from COVID-19.

In Slovenia, the epidemic was declared on March 12.
