During the COVID-19 crisis, ZF Serbia has kept their workers healthy, secured a continuity of operations by constantly producing and delivering and continued realizing the plans for the expansion in the location in Pancevo, said one of the two general managers of the company, Milan Grujic.
Grujic, who is the general manager of the E-mobility division of ZF Serbia, responsible for management, legal and financial affairs and communication, said that the health and safety of the employees had been maintained and that the continuity of operations had been secured through deliveries and supporting clients in line with their needs.
– I would like to note that, among the employees at ZF Serbia, there are no recorded cases of COVID-19 infections – Grujic said and added that the current protection measures included the implementation of strict hygienic standards at the factory and in the organized transport.
As Grujic pointed out, the success of the implementation of these measures is mostly down to the discipline and conscientious conduct of the employees.
ZF Serbia has not stopped producing throughout the state of emergency, and capacity usage in April was at 40%.
– We expect the usage to be at 70% in May. We are constantly monitoring and examining the situation, actively working on adapting the production capacities to the constant demands of our clients and we are preparing to meet their plans and the relaunching of the production facilities – Grujic said.
