Saga nominated for European Banking Technology Awards 2005

Belgrade-based computer company Saga has been nominated for prestigious award for banking technologies in Europe - European Banking Technology Awards 2005, in the category of Best Clearing and Settlement achievement.

On the Microsoft platform Saga created effective solution for clearing of checks for needs of Association of Banks of Serbia. Instead of former two weeks, with the help of Saga’s solution, the entire process lasts less then 1 hour. In this way, Saga set new standards in clearing of checks, not only in our country, but also in Europe. Such achievement did not pass without notice in the world expert public and Saga, rightfully, is the favourite in its category.

Members of this-year jury are eminent experts from the biggest European banks and financial corporations. David Craig (McKinsey & Company), Mitchel Lenson (Deutche Bank), Stephen Brannan (Royal Bank of Scotland), Fred Tingey (BNP Paribas) and Chris Winter (JPMorgan) are only some of the names that will decide about the most successful banking technology solutions in 2005.

Allottment of European Banking Technology Awards 2005 will take place on NOvember 3rd in London. (www.mikro.co.yu)
