Tourist guides volunteers in Belgrade starting from 2010

The Tourism Organization of Belgrade will launch the new initiative this year under the name of "Belgrade's greeters". The initiative anticipates formation of the same service as in some European countries, with the aim of creation of the atmosphere of hospitality and other professional support and assistance.
– The students of the universities in Belgrade are interested in engagement in this service. Greeters are not professional guides, but volunteers who show their city to the tourists with great enthusiasm, thus helping the guests to see Belgrade through the eyes of their citizens – Vesna Nađ from TOB's PR service told BeoInfo.
