Sid Soon to Get Glass Wool Factory – Construction of Thermowook Facility in Adasevci Close to Realization

The project of the construction of a facility for the production of glass wool in Adasevci near Sid, previously announced for mid-March, has now been provided with an urban plan.

The Municipality of Sid has announced a public presentation of the urban project of the construction of a production hall with a storage facility. The investor is Thermowool doo Sid, and the developer is the Krug Plus design studio from Sremska Mitrovica.

According to the plan, the parcel of 100,062 m2 should feature a glass wool production facility, as well as the infrastructure, with protective and decorative greenery.

Two production halls, a warehouse and an administrative sections are to be built. The plan also includes traffic and maneuvering areas within the complex.

A new traffic route is planned within the location, as well as the connection of the facilities to water, phone and power systems.

The plan will be up for public review until May 7, 2020.

The sales and purchase agreement pertaining to this parcel, for the purpose of the first greenfield investment in Sid in ten years, was signed in late February.

As announced by the deputy president of the Municipality of Sid, Zoran Semenovic, the Austrian investor, which already has a facility in Sremska Mitrovica, should employ 60 workers in Sid.
