Shopping Without Air-Conditioning, Under Masks and With Gloves – Measures in Malls Upon Opening
Most citizens are already used to visiting indoor premises, stores and public institutions with masks and gloves and taking care to maintain a safe distance, as well as to queue. These rules will apply for malls as well. Experts emphasize that, regardless of the recommendations, the most important thing is to self-assess the risk.
For employees, the wearing of masks and gloves and the maintaining of physical distance is mandatory. Facilities, that is, stores and common premises, as well as all equipment, must be disinfected regularly, and it is also necessary to install barriers. These rules apply to shopping malls and other indoor premises.
Pharmacies and food stores within the shopping malls have been open throughout the crisis and the same rules continue to apply to them.
Hypermarkets say that they are continuing to carry out the measures as before. This entails, they point out, a detailed disinfection of premises, baskets, shelves and other items. Employees wear protective equipment and use disinfecting gels.
