Hungarian OTP bank gave offer for Niška banka
Hungarian bank OTP has handed the offer for procurement of 89.39% of share in Niška banka to the Deposit Insurance Agency. After it carried out survey of condition, the OTP bank’s team for acquisition, together with legal advisors and inspectors, estimated the value of Niška banka and prepared the offer. OTP is the biggest Hungarian banking group that handed the Letter of intent for procurement of Niška banka, of which market share in Serbia is 0.7%, on March 31. Niška banka has about 80,000 clients and 24 offices. Its total assets at the end of the first half of the year amounted to €40.2m, total deposits were €13.2m, whereas overall capital of the bank amounts to €18m.
