The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Marko Cadez, has provided some clarification regarding the state's measures of aiding the economy
. As he says, banks are not exempt from these measures and are considered to be large companies, when it comes to subsidizing wages in the amount of 50% per worker or postponing the payment of taxes and contributions.
Cadez also said that the measures did not apply to March salaries, but that this could change by a potential decision to that end.
– Postponement of tax and contribution collection applies to all companies (with the general rule of exempting those who have laid off more than 10% of their employees) – Cadez wrote on his LinkedIn profile.
