The first cabins for disinfection, an innovative solution that the Belgrade-based company 365ADS has developed to the end of suppressing the spreading of coronavirus will reach the priority health institutions in Serbia in two weeks.

The company's plan is to first build three prototypes with various options for disinfection, after which it will be known what the demand is, and the production will continue in line with that, the director, Nikola Vucicevic, says for eKapija.

The Aditus Gate cabin is one of the 12 innovative projects financed by the Innovation Fund. The company says that the development began before the public invitation, but that, thanks to the Fund and the confirmation of the realization of this project, their team is working on preparing the cabin.

– Once the first prototypes are prepared, the cabins will be given, in coordination with the Fund, to the health institution that needs them the most. Of course, to the end of suppressing the Covid-19 epidemic, we would want to offer our expertise to all health institutions, without aiming for additional profit – Vucicevic emphasizes.

He adds that, once the cabins for the health institutions, which are the absolute priority, are built, the company will then produce cabins for all other state institutions, public areas and busy locations, such as airports and bus stops.

– The private sector has already recognized the need for maximum protection of its employees with the help of the Aditus Gate cabins, so, once we built the prototypes for health and other state institutions, we will start producing cabins for companies throughout Serbia, but also for export to the countries of the region and the EU – Vucicevic reveals.

Devices measure the temperature and send users for medical examination

The cabin measures the body temperature with a camera, sensors and special software and disinfects hands and footwear.

The disinfection of hands and footwear is done by disinfectants, chemical compounds which remove harmful pathogenic microorganisms, which the cabin itself uses in the process of self-disinfection after every use.

– After the camera and the sensors determine that the body temperature is normal, the specially designed software guides the user through the further process of mandatory disinfection – Vucicevic explains for eKapija.

However, if the body temperature is higher than normal, the cabin door will not open for the further disinfection process.

– The user is then sent for additional medical examination or separated from other people in the room, depending on the procedure, which, in this case, is determined by the institution in which the cabin is located – Vucicevic emphasizes for our portal.

They are currently cooperating with experts for chemistry, virology and biology on the project of preparing the prototype.

– We are already in contact with subcontractors in order to develop the cabins as soon as possible and put them in operation. The aim is to increase the production capacities in the upcoming period and to include several subcontractors – small companies in the realization, thereby helping them to maintain the production even after the state of emergency is revoked.
