The Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has canceled flights to Milan, Treviso and Bergamo due to the outbreak of coronavirus and the subsequent establishment of a quarantine in northern Italy, which will last until April 3, the company told the Hungarian agency MTI.

The company said that it would inform the passengers with reservations for the canceled flights that they can choose between a full refund and having 120% of the ticket price being paid to their Wizz account.

The passengers which reserved flights through a travel agency should contact their agent to learn more about the options, the company said.

In the meantime, the operator of the Budapest airport announced that the Liszt Ferenc International Airport will no longer accept flights from Milan, Bergamo, or Treviso from Monday, March 9.
