Price of agricultural land in Serbia grows 5-7% annually – Most expensive parcels in South Banat District
High prices per hectare were also realized in the North Backa District (EUR 9,650), the West Backa District (EUR 8,250) and the Srem District (EUR 8,500).
At the bottom of the list is agricultural land in south and east Serbia, where a hectare was worth EUR 2,750 on average. Sumadija and west Serbia are slightly above, at EUR 3,350, and a hectare in the Belgrade region cost EUR 4,200.
In the past three years, the price of agricultural land in Serbia has grown around 5% to 7% annually, the RGA says.
The largest area, slightly over 559 hectares, was paid EUR 4,800,000, in the territory of the Municipality of Novi Becej.
As for prices per hectare, the highest one was EUR 100,000, paid in Gunaros, Municipality of Backa Topola, in the North Backa District.
