The average price of dwellings in a new residential building in Montenegro in 2019 was EUR 1,110, a decrease by 0.8% compared with the 2018, as shown by the Monstat data.
The average price of dwellings in a new residential building in Podgorica in 2019 was EUR 1,070.
– In the coastal region, it was EUR 1,400, in the central region it was 663 EUR, while the average price of dwellings in a new residential building in the northern region was EUR 760 – the press release says.
The differences over the years in average prices of dwellings in a new residential buildings significantly depend on the involvement of solidarity housing development dwellings.
– If the share of these dwellings increases, the average price of dwellings in a new residential buildings will be significantly lower, or if this share decreases, the average price will be higher – Monstat explains.
The average market price of dwellings in a new residential building in Montenegro in the category of enterprises in 2019 was EUR 1,191, while in the category of solidarity housing development it was EUR 666 EUR.
