Export of IT services in 2019 reaches EUR 1.4 billion
At the press conference where the NBS inflation report was presented, the deputy director general of the Sector for Economic Research and Statistics, Milan Trajkovic, said that the total export of services, including IT services, had reached EUR 7 billion in 2019, an increase by 15%.
Trajkovic says that the growth of the export of goods and services in 2019 amounted to 10.5%, reaching the amount of EUR 23.4 billion.
He said that last year's exports had not slowed down and that they had instead accelerated compared to 2018.
Let us remind that Serbia plans to create more high-paying jobs in IT and other sectors through the process of digitization.
