Paracin Wine Salon to gather around 70 wineries from Serbia and the region
A large number of eminent wineries from Serbia and abroad are presented each year at Hotel Petrus to the people of Paracin and the surrounding area, as well as numerous local and foreign guests.
– From a small, local event, the Salon has turned into a mandatory date in the wine calendar in the whole Serbia – the TO Paracin says in a press release.
This year, around 70 wineries from all parts of Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Romania and North Macedonia will be presented at the Salon.
– Several thousand wine aficionados each year can testify to the dizzying growth of the quality of wine and the expanding range of varieties in the wine scene in Serbia. Even those who know or think they know the wine scene get a surprise in Paracin, as new stars have their premieres here all the time. That's why the Paracin Wine Salon is a mandatory event for everyone who has something to do with wine in the region, primarily the owners of renowned restaurants and stores in the wider area. It is definitely a major date for everyone who makes wine, lives from it and finds delight in it – it is added.
A day earlier, on March 6, also at Hotel Petrus, in cooperation with the Wine Knight Order of the Pomoravlje Region “Steva Pisar 1805”, a wine grading event will be organized, featuring wines made of indigenous and new varieties. The three-member commission will be led by Dr Vladimir Puskas from Novi Sad.
