The Science-Technology Park Novi Sad, worth EUR 26 million, opened today. It is intended for the purposes of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, and its construction was a joint project of the Government of Serbia and the Provincial Government of Vojvodina, with the help of the City of Novi Sad and said faculty.
– Thanks to the promise made at the laying of the foundation stone in October 2016, we now have a new facility of 30,000 m2, where 3,000 students and 400 professors and assistant professors from the Faculty of Technical Sciences are provided with state-of-the-art working conditions on an area of 10,000 m2 – said the president of the Provincial Government, Igor Mirovic.
In mid-2020, a part of the Science-Technology Park will be rented to startups and IT companies. This is a smart, green building, significant for many reasons, especially in the domain of connecting science with economy and in the fields of IT and startups.
