The City of Zajecar has finally decided to use the benefits of the thermal mineral water springs in the village of Nikolicevo and build a modern spa-tourist complex with all the side features, replacing the dilapidated pool.
As said in the Draft Detailed Regulation Plan, which has been put up for public review by the town administration in the period from January 27 to February 25, 2020, spa-tourist and sports-recreational complexes are to be built on an area exceeding 12 hectares.
The 18,000-m2 spa-tourist complex should feature residential facilities for rent to the visitors and spa-tourist users. In addition to outdoor and indoor pools and hotels, as well as an inpatient clinic, a camping settlement is planned to be built as well.
A hotel with therapy treatments, an aqua park, a spa center, outdoor and indoor pools and a sports complex with a hall for training and a courts for sports such as basketball and tennis should be built within the sports-recreation complex, on an area of 5,000 m2.
Entirely new hydrotechnical infrastructure is to be built within the spa, the roads will be expanded and parking spaces and footpaths will be built.
Considering that said area doesn't feature a gas network either, one is to be built, according to the plan.
