"Delta's" company "Florida bel" makes products of peanuts, pistachios and pumpkin seeds for Croatian "Podravka"

Company "Florida bel" from Belgrade, a part of "Delta holding", announced today (November 26, 2009) that it would be making the products of peanuts, pistachios and pumpkin seeds for the trademark of company "Podravka".

According to the one-year contract that has been signed between the two companies, the products under the trademark of "Podravka" will be sold in the stores in Croatia and the region, while the production of muesli for "Podravka" is planned to start in "Florida bel" in April 2010.

Company "Florida bel" was founded in 1990 in Belgrade as a wholesale company, while "Delta" bought it in 2007 and built a factory that owns ISO 22000 quality standard certificate, which enables export to the markets of European Union and Russia.

"Florida bel" deals with processing and packing nuts and tropical fruit and cereals.

The products of that company are already present in the markets of Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Albania.

People in company "Florida bel" expect the value of export in 2009 to exceed 1m EUR.

"We expect total turnover in 2009 to amount to 13m EUR, which is 5,000 tons of goods packed in 190 products that are made of 55 raw materials", it is stated in the announcement.
