E-registrations of leasing agreements for advancement on Doing Business list
– The system for electronic receipt of agreements on financial leasing is to start working at the Business Registers Agency. This is our obligation under the government’s plan and program for advancement on the World Bank’s Doing Business list – said the director of the Business Registers Agency, Milan Lucic.
He explained that, thanks to the electronic system built in 2019, the registration of agreements on financial leasing will be carried out electronically, so the leasing companies which sign agreements with users on financial leasing will file those agreements electronically to the Business Registers Agency, which will then further process them electronically.
Lucic said that the measure was envisaged in the government’s program for improving Serbia’s position on the World Bank’s Doing Business list for the 2019-2020 period when it comes to loan availability, related to the transparency of information on securities.
