The members of the City Assembly of Novi Sad have authorized the city's public transport company GSP to take out a loan of EUR 7 million from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the purchase of 30 buses.

As the 021 portal reports, the EBRD will carry out a tendering procedure for the purchase of 25 solo gas-powered buses and five articulated buses, also powered by gas. The loan that the City of Novi Sad is to take out entails a grace period of one year, and the repayment period is seven years with an annual rate of 2.2%. This credit is provided to the City of Novi Sad, that is, GSP, within the support of the EBRD to “green projects”, as the new buses run on CNG (methane).
