October 2019 sees 2,433 building permits issued, increase of 8.8% compared to October 2018
Observed by types of constructions, in October 2019, 79.8% of building permits related to buildings and 20.2% to civil engineering.
When referring only to buildings, 73.7% related to residential buildings and 26.3% to non–residential ones, while regarding civil engineering, the largest number related to pipelines, communication and electric power lines (64.4%).
According to the permits issued in October 2019 in the Republic of Serbia, building of 2,362 dwellings with average area of 80.1 m2 was recorded.
Anticipated value of works of new construction in October 2019 amounted to 86.1% of totally anticipated value of works. Observed by areas, the greatest construction activity is expected in Severnobanatska oblast (50.2%) of totally anticipated value of works, followed by Beogradska oblast (15.8%), Pomoravska oblast (5.5%), Podunavska oblast (5.1%) and Južnobačka oblast (4.6%), while the shares of other areas are up to 3.2%.
