Vip Mobile to be renamed as A1 – No need to change numbers, SIM cards or equipment
All the contracted services remain the same. There is no need to change the numbers, the SIM cards or the equipment, and all the obligations toward the users defined by contract still apply.
The company's press release says that, for the past 12 years, Vip Mobile has been a member of A1 Telekom Austria Group, which has 25 million users in seven countries.
In September 2017, the group decided to introduce A1 as the single brand for all the member-companies, the press release adds.
– In line with this strategy, Vip Mobile will be rebranded as A1 in 2020 – the company says.
It is also emphasized that, as A1, the company will continue investing in new generation networks and new digital age technologies, thereby enabling a digital transformation of the Serbian economy and the society as a whole.
