Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic said that she expected the commercial contract with the strategic partner for the construction of the Morava Corridor, the Bechtel-Enka consortium, to be adopted at the Government of Serbia's next week's session and then for the works to start on the section near Krusevac.
– During yesterday's negotiations, the commercial contract on this project was defined and I expect it to be put before the government on Monday and then to be adopted at the session on Thursday. The location on the section near Krusevac has been prepared for the works to begin, which we expect to happen in 10 to 15 days – Mihajlovic said.
She pointed out that this was a very important infrastructure project, which will connect around 500,000 people in central Serbia and the cities of Krusevac, Trstenik, Vrnjacka Banja, Kraljevo and Cacak.
