BAS to take out EUR 12 million loan for construction of new bus station in Block 42
The credit, as eKapija already wrote, will be taken out at Komercijalna Banka, to the end of realizing the business activities related to the construction of the bus station in Block 42 in New Belgrade. As said in the explanation, “because financial funds cannot be secured from the regular operations of BAS, it is necessary to secure them by taking out a loan”.
– The construction of the new bus station resolves the question of the handling of passengers and buses in the capital city in a permanent and modern way, which is a joint interest of Belgrade, the citizens of Belgrade and the beneficiaries of theses services, as well as over 700 employees at BAS – the decision reads.
Let us remind that the Belgrade Land Development Public Agency has opened a public invitation for bids for the construction of traffic routes around Block 42 which would enable access to the new main bus station in New Belgrade. The tendering procedure is open until November 12.
