Hotel Srbija in Niska Banja gets new owner – Renovation by the end of 2020
– It will be a five-star hotel with two underground levels, featuring a parking area and a pool, respectively, with additional features – Jovanovic said.
He added that, upon completion, residents of Niska Banja and Nis would get a hotel they can be proud of.
Until 2003, Hotel Srbija was owned by Srbijaturist, and American businessman Srba Ilic became the owner in the privatization process. As Ilic soon gave up on doing business in Serbia, Hotel Srbija was put up for sale again in 2005, and the company Delta Matik was the new buyer.
However, that company also gave up on investing in the facility, which consequently kept on deteriorating.
Twinel doo Nis, one of whose owners is Zvezdan Milovanovic, bought Hotel Srbija from Delta Matik.
