Risan Port preparing for concession – Tender for preparation of study of port’s state and necessary investments opens
As stated in the invitation, the plan of putting ports of local importance up for concession, adopted by the Government of Montenegro on April 28, 2016, entails a concession of the Risan Port. Under the government’s decision on defining ports by importance, the Risan Port is designated as a port of local importance, which is the legal foundation for putting it up for concession.
The state location study for Sector 10 – Risan for the coastal zone says the Risan Port is planned as a city port and a nautical tourism port. The plan defines the purpose of the port, the necessary investments in its equipping and development, as well as the regime of usage. The adoption of this study created the conditions for defining the subject of the concession.
It is further said that the subject of the concession is infrastructural equipping, modernization, maintenance (investments), and the usage of the port – providing port services at the Risan Port. The capacity of the marina is up to 150 moorings. A part of the port is defined as a municipal mooring area with 30 municipal moorings.
The investments pertain to the installation of pontoons and nautical moorings equipment, installation of pontoon breakwaters, installation of a pre-fabricated or solid facility of 150 m2, installation of water and electricity connections for all the moorings, installation of devices for collecting waste from yachts and preparation of a system for directing waste waters into the sewerage system.
For the purpose of preparing an economic-financial analysis and concession act, a study of the state of the Risan Port and the necessary investments in the infrastructural equipping and maintenance of the port needs to be prepared.
Bids are submitted on work days between 9 am and 3 pm, until November 18, 2019, at 1 pm. The public opening of the bids, which can be attended by authorized representatives of the bidders will be held on the same date at 1.30 pm at the premises of the PE Morsko Dobro.
