MRKONJIĆ: Tender for bypass around Belgrade at end of November

- The works on expropriation of land, as well as the main project for bypass around Belgrade, on the route of Corridor 10, in the section between Dobanovci and Batajnica, have been finished - Milutin Mrkonjić, the Minister of Infrastructure, told "Blic".

Mrkonjić says that the tender documentation is being prepared and announces commencement of works at the end of November. He rejected to speak about how the job had been done with Ljubiša Buha and Vojin Lazarević, the owners of the largest parcels alongside that route.

- I said that expropriation was finished! Buha, Lazarević?! I don't want to speak about anybody! No matter whose land that was, the job is done. The money for interchange cloverleaf near Batajnica has been approved - 115m RSD from the World Bank, and we can start the works at the end of November. The works will be carried out during the winter as well - he points out.

Expropriation of land on the bypass between Orlovača and Bubanj Potok, 12.5 km long, is also finished, as well as the main project.

- We are now searching for money - says Minister Mrkonjić and adds that the funds will be provided by the end of the year and that the works will commence in March 2010.

Mrkonjić reminds that the Government of Serbia has agreed to finish the documentation related to Corridor 10 by the end of this year, as well as expropriation of land for highway sections that will be built next year.
