The Ambassador of Turkey to Belgrade, Tanju Bilgic, says that, during the visit of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Serbia, the president will talk to the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic about new projects useful to both countries and announces the opening of six factories.

– After two years, the Turkish president is coming to visit Serbia again. This year marks the 140th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and the friendship between the two leaders is at its all-time peak. This friendship, of course, reflects on our bilateral relations – Biglic said.

He added that the foundation stones for the construction of the Belgrade-Sarajevo and the reconstruction of the Novi Pazar-Tutin road would be laid during the visit and that six factories would be opened, as part of the investments which began in 2017.

– Furthermore, we will also open projects realized by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), such as the Ram Fortress. The two leaders will, of course, also discuss new projects beneficial to both countries – the ambassador said.
