The infrastructural equipping of the Industrial Zone Zmic, which started in mid-June, for the purpose of the construction of the Industrial Park, has been completed.
The infrastructural equipping was carried out within the EU PRO program.
As said on the website of the municipality, the construction of another large traffic route, which enables the expansion of the zone through the opening of a new block of parcels, has been completed, and the contracting of the construction of the Industrial Park is expected in the upcoming period.
The
tendering for the contractor has long since expired, but the invitation for bid supplements in the negotiation procedure for the public procurement procedure for the works on the construction of the Industrial Park is in progress.
The invitation says that the subject of the public procurement procedure is the first phase of the construction of a production facility on the parcels of the Industrial Park within the Industrial Zone Zmic.
The final deadline for the submission of bids is October 10, 2019, at 11 am, and the public opening and negotiations will start 15 minutes later.
As previously announced, the facility is to be built for the Swedish company Rimaster, which will produce electrical system and cable sets for special vehicles and heavy construction machines in the industrial zone in Paracin.
The Municipality of Paracin reminds that, according to the investor's announcements, up to 1,000 people should be employed at the new facility in the upcoming years and adds that, including all the other investors in the Zone, 1,500 jobs will be provided in a few years in this area.
