Airports of Montenegro to be put up for concession – Tendering procedure to open next week
– I believe that everything is ready and that the invitation will be published in the international newspaper Economist and in local media next Thursday. The pre-qualification period will last 45 days. There is a great interest of respectable companies and we expect a good offer and a good operator – Nurkovic said, as reported by Investor.me.
The concession act and the draft agreement for the awarding of the concession for the use of airports Tivat and Podgorica, as Pobjeda reminds, was adopted by the Government of Montenegro on July 25, and representatives of the executive authorities announced at the time that the procedure of the awarding of the concession for the airports and the signing of the agreement with the concessionaire should be completed in March.
The tendering procedure entails two phases, the first of which is the pre-qualification phase, with a 45-day deadline.
After the qualified bidders are selected, the tendering procedure, that is, the invitation for bids from the selected consortiums or companies, will open.
That procedure will take 60 days, after which the tendering commission will examine the submitted bids.
