Oaza golf complex project to finally move forward – Detailed Regulation Plan to be prepared in October, construction to start in 2020

The contractors for the Oaza golf complex project in the Becmen neighborhood of Surcin have been known for a long time. Still despite the numerous obstacles in the past 11 years, the consortium El Golf, consisting of investors from the USA, Austria and Israel, has not given up on the construction of the first tournament golf course in the region.

As Politika writes, the preparation of the Detailed Regulation Plan begins in October, and as Sasa Tricis, the leader of the project worth EUR 300 million, claims, the financing has been secured.

– We rent 300 hectares and this year we have finally resolved the property issues and listed in the land register. The construction of the first professional golf course with 18 holes should begin next year – Trisic announced.

He pointed out that the complex would feature luxury mansions, apartments, a shopping mall, a school, a kindergarten...

According to Trisic, the location is close to the future National Stadium, which will make the offer of the Municipality of Surcin more complete.

The preliminary design for Oaza is authored by architect Peter Haradin, and the preparation of the main project will be entrusted by the investors to a world renowned golf course designer, Trisic says.

Let us remind that, as eKapija reported, a golf complex should also be built in the Pinosava settlement near Belgrade, on over 63 hectares.
