Last weekend (October 3 and 4, 2009), few hundred kids aged between 6 and 14 took part in the campaign organized by "Samsung" in front of shopping center "Ušće". Their task was to score the goal because 200 luckiest kids are going to spend next weekend in "Mini Stars" football camp organized by Chelsea FC whose professional coaches are coming to Belgrade to train these kids on Ada Ciganlija on October 10 and 11.
That is a part of the "Football in the Community"
social responsibility programme that is being implemented by company "Samsung" and Chealsea FC with the aim of promoting sports as the means for directing kids towards healthy life and learning through fun.
With the support of Belgrade-based agency "M2Communications", company "Samsung", the proud sponsor of Chelsea FC, organizes the "Football in The Community" project in Belgrade for the first time and brings professionals from the famous London's football club.It is for sure that 200 kids will learn something new because 350,000 children participate in such camps in Europe, USA and China every year. The aim is promotion of fair play, respect, discipline, and fight against violence. Within the scope of the project, company Samsung made it possible for the representatives of media in Serbia to visit Football Academy Chelsea in London in September. Journalists from Serbia had the tour of the Academy that occupies the surface of nearly 200 ha and includes the complex with 35 football pitches, 17 swimming pools, restaurants, premises for studying, fun, medical treatments, analyses of trainings and matches, computer data processing...
