Nordeus Hub in New Belgrade, a space meant for the gaming industry, to start working

Nordeus Hub, a free co-working space in New Belgrade, specially created for the needs of the gaming industry, began working yesterday. As the first space of this kind in the country, Hub is meant for the development of indie game teams, startups and the strengthening of talented people to the end of improving the gaming ecosystem in Serbia.

By offering education programs, meetups, presentations and community events, Hub will act as a center where people can learn and develop their skill, cooperate, find associates and get help and support from the Nordeus team and other companies and professionals from this industry, the press release says.

The launching of this hub, specially designed to support the gaming industry in Belgrade and Serbia, was preceded by over a year of developing the concept, with a test space launched in December, which proved the need for one such initiative.

Located in the GTC Green Heart business complex, in a building next to the Nordeus facility, with 260 m2, this space has a capacity of 30 seats in the co-working area and around 70 spectator spots when it comes to events. It also features two meeting rooms, a kitchen and other facilities.

– At the Nordeus Hub, we will organize practical programs and events for developers from the IT industry and students, which will introduce them to gaming as a business and offer them tools and support in the initial phases of their careers and startups in this industry – said Milos Paunovic, a CSR specialist at Nordeus.


– We want to create more successful gaming companies and help the development of a robust ecosystem which will contribute to putting Serbia on the global gaming map – he added.

The hub will offer various programs and events meant for the community of gaming professionals and students, aiming to connect and support them find their way in the industry. The two key programs which will be launched in 2019 are “Booster” and “Intro to Gaming”, the press release says.
