"Henkel-Merima" put ecological protective top filter in operation – investment worth 1m EUR

Top filter, the state-of-the-arts ecological system of protection, has been put in operation in factory "Henkel-Merima" in Kruševac. Installation of top filter represents the final step in realization of the long-term investment of company "Henkel" in amount of 1m EUR.

Top filter, which is mounted on the factory tower, keeps all kinds of air particles and micro-particles, which stay in the air after the production process, so that the air that is released is completely cleansed. In addition to nearly 100%-cleansed air, top filter also cuts consumption of water and electric energy, which has, so far, been used for ecological systems of protection, which unites all aspects of environment protection and sustainable development.

- The Law on Air Protection has introduced new standards that must be satisfied by industrial units in order to be able to produce in accordance with the environment protection regulations. Installation of such filter significantly contributes to preservation of air quality. The Republic Environment Protection Inspection controls pollution and application of technological solutions for its reduction. I hope that more and more companies in Serbia will invest in environment protection – said Oliver Dulić, the Minister of Environment Protection and Spatial Planning in the Government of Serbia.
