The Mountain Music Fest (MMF), one of the best mountain-music festivals in this part of Europe, will be held for the fourth time on Divcibare. Under the slogan “The Heartbeat is Strong”, it will gather visitors on August 16-17, 2019.
It will offer a varied program for all ages, and, in addition to good music, it also offers numerous adventure, arts, cultural and education features, as well as features for children.
The first night of the festival is reserved for Buc Kesidi i Ljubicice, which will shake up the audience with their rock ‘n’ roll and electro-blues sound. The program will also feature jazz, soul, funk, disco, hip-hop, r’n’b and house mixes, played by the famous DJ Iron and the guys from White City Soul.
The second night is reserved for the eclectic sounds of Elemental and the cult Belgrade group Plejboj, as well as the roots reggae sound of Killo Killo Banda. Loup Garou will evoke the spirit of New Orleans, whereas the Bukva Stage will feature Trio Elegancija with its Gypsy swing sound.
Children’s program includes an adventure park and a zipline, and the festival has organized workshops for making dolls, hand bracelets and piñatas and an architecture workshop.
The festival program also includes racing, dancing, yoga, orienteering, archery and juggling. Visitors will have an opportunity to take part in bringing one of Leonardo da Vinci’s inventions to life and to hear an interesting lecture on electromobility given by a young scientist.
For those who prefer to stay away from all these activities, MMF has provided a peaceful area reserved exclusively for resting.
Tickets can be bought at ticket.rs and at the entrance. They cost RSD 700, and entrance for children under 10 is free.
