City of Belgrade seeking company for preparation of taxi transport study – Aiming for improved service and more affordable prices
The selected company will use a sample of 2,000 users to test how satisfied they are with the operations of the taxi services and which new features they would introduce. Taxi drivers will be surveyed as well, the operations of call centers will be monitored and a working day of a taxi driver will be observed. Furthermore, in surveying the situation in the field, the locations and the usage of the capacities of taxi stops will be observed as well.
– The demands of users, operators and the local self-government all need to be taken into consideration. The necessary number of vehicles and licenses needs to be calculated and the age, capacity and environmental characteristics of the vehicles need to be determined. The revenues within the taxi transport system need to be defined, but a model of implementing a single price, which would be the product of the competition between the associations, should be proposed, so as to set more affordable prices for users – the documentation reads.
The study will look into the potential implementation of an innovative system and apps that would accelerate the process of ordering and access to the call center in the period between 2020 to 2024.
Offers can be sent by July 29, 2019.
