Zlatibor Mona first Serbian green hotel

Hotel Zlatibor Mona is the first Serbian hotel brand to be awarded with the international eco-certificate Green Key. This is the leading excellence standard in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable tourism operations.

– We are proud to emphasize that this is the first time that a fully Serbian brand, which is not part of an international hotel chain, has gotten the Green Key. Hotel Zlatibor Mona is also the only hotel here, outside Belgrade, to be awarded with this prestigious certificate. We continue making changes in environmental protection and ecological sustainability. The Green Key is one of the programs of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). It proscribes operations in line with the high criteria of sustainability. Over 3,000 hotels in 57 countries carry this eco-certificate, whose goals are to increase the implementation of ecologically acceptable and sustainable operation methods and to develop environmental awareness and incite a change in the behavior of guests, employees and suppliers.
