"Hostel Fair" to satisfy the needs of both young and business people - new accommodation facility in Belgrade

Ever since the first young backpackers from Europe and the world appeared in our streets it has become clear that Belgrade urgently needs some other type of accommodation to offer. In addition to classical hotel accommodation, which is quite expensive for new dynamic generation of world travellers who are interested in staying in Serbia, the idea for opening hostels has been introduced.

Just like in the West, this is, first of all, clean, decent and cheap accommodation. That is why the married couple Jevtić, Jasmina and Dejan, opened a hostel in the vicinity of the Belgrade Trade Fair for all sorts of clients, including young backpackers from the beginning of our story and businessmen who are visiting trade fairs and exhibitions and find it very important to be in the vicinity of the events, potential partners and buyers.

This married couple with entrepreneurial spirit also thought about those people who are forced to stay in Belgrade for a long time for various reasons (medical treatment, sports manifestations, seminars, celebrations, etc.). Ljiljana Čerović, one of the directors of the Tourism Organization of Serbia, said at the opening of "Hostel Fair" that our growing tourist economy and Belgrade needed such terrific facilities and capacities. How does a modern hostel actually look like?

Jasmina Jevtić, the Director, says that the facility is multifunctional. It has total of 70 beds in 17 comfortable rooms with two to eight beds equipped with air-conditioning systems, night tables, table lamps and lockers. Since smoking is not allowed, the hostel also has the premises for smokers.

At the info desk, the staff or the owners themselves will introduce every guest to the contents of the hostel and keep them informed on the events in the city, or even try to provide some "unavailable" tickets for a concert, theater, ballet, or book the seats in cult cafes and night clubs in Belgrade through their contacts. The guests also have a multimedia center at their disposal (computers, Internet corners, wireless internet in all rooms, as well as cable channels). There is a multifunctional space in the living room at 150 square meters: Internet corner, joint kitchen, cafe - dining room, space for rest, relaxation, reading... There are, also, capacities for organization of presentations, meetings or press conferences.

The hosts can organize top catering services for sports teams or all those who need such services, while the opening of new restaurant and expansion of existing capacities are in the pipeline. The bathroom for women has shower booths, toilets and well-organized space for make-up, while the bathroom for men has shower booths and toilets.

The prices range between 15 and 25 EUR, while discounts are offered for group visits. The price includes: wireless internet, insurance, use of hairdryer, ironing board and iron, keeping of important things in a safe deposit box, and baggage space.
