Implementation of green parking zone begins in parts of Palilula and Zvezdara
All traffic routes from Poenkareova Street to Ruzveltova Street and from Dimitrija Tucovica Street to Svetog Nikole Street have gone “green”. The new green zone in Palilula covers the part bordered by Poenkareova Street, from Cvijiceva Street to Dragoslava Srejovica Street, Mije Kovacevica Street, the right side of Ruzveltova Street and Cvijiceva Street.
In the municipality of Zvezdara, the newly formed zone is bordered by Ruzveltova Street and Mije Kovacevica Street (right side from Dimitrija Tucovica Street to Dragoslava Srejovica Street), Severni Blvd, Veljka Dugosevica, Svetog Nikole, Varovnicka and Dimitrija Tucovica streets.
In the green zone, the maximum parking time is 180 minutes and the control and charging for parking are carried out each working day from 7 am till 9 pm and from 7 am till 2 pm on Saturday. The price is RSD 41 per hour, and there's the option of extended parking for 60 minutes at the price of RSD 140.
Registered residents of the said streets with cars registered under their own name can use a parking ticket which provides certain benefits. They, as well as legal entities and enterprises registered with seats in the said streets can park without a time limit at the first free parking space. Tickets are available at the outlets of the Parking Servic enterprise or at the ePPK portal. The price for residents is RSD 457, whereas parking for users of disability parking cards is free.
In the initial period, citizens will be informed of the expansion of the green parking zone through fliers and notifications and the system should be implemented this week.
