Norwegians finance construction of new building of business school in Leskovac - 2m EUR worth of donation
The Government of Norway has set aside 2m EUR for construction of new school building of the College of Economics in Leskovac. The agreement has already been reached and, in order for the construction of the school building to be made possible, the Government of Serbia will invest 40m RSD, local self-government has already given free city building land, while part of the funds will also be set aside by this popular educational institution.
Over the last few days, the location for new school building is being prepared. Total of 14 companies expressed interest in its construction, and they all took tender dossier for the works.
It is expected that the foundation stone will be laid in mid-September. According to the words of professor Dr. Žika Stojanović, the school principal, the school will occupy the surface of 3,500 square meters, it will be modernly equipped, and all works should be finished in 17 months.
