Provincial Government allocates RSD 125 million to agriculturists in Vojvodina – Beekeepers get most

The Provincial Secretary for Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry, Vuk Radojevic, has handed over 124 contracts to users who have obtained the right to have grants allocated within three contests, the total value of which exceeds RSD 125 million, of which around 50% is provided by the competent secretariat. Radojevic reminded that the funds were meant to co-finance beekeeping activities and that the second contest was meant for the allocation of funds for the establishment of new fishponds and the reconstruction of the existing ones in the territory of Vojvodina in 2019.

Within the third contest, he said, the funds are meant for the financing of the intensification of the usage of agricultural land at the disposal of science and research institutions, secondary agricultural schools and other high schools with agricultural education profiles in Vojvodina.

Radojevic specified that the majority of the contracts, a total of 108, were signed with beekeepers.
