Construction of modern multifunctional hall in Belgrade to start in June

The works on the construction of a modern multifunctional hall in Kosutnjak will begin in June, and the total value of the investment is EUR 12 million, as per the contract signed between the Ministry of Youth and Sport, the Institute for Sports and Sports Medicine of the Republic of Serbia and W.D. Concord West, the construction company which will execute the works, it has been announced on the Institute’s website.


The sports facility will be built within the Institute, on 3.36 hectares. The facility should contain training rooms for wrestling, judo, taekwondo, karate, archery, sport climbing and weight-lifting. A relaxation zone, a gym, and a court for tournaments and ball sports will also be available to athletes.

The construction of this unique facility in the region is assessed to be a big step forward when it comes to sports in Serbia.
