At the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, the Italian company Meccanica Industriale, the leading producer of electrical water pumps of the Belardi brand, presented its activities.
– Our products are meant to be used in agriculture, for irrigation, and they are also suitable for use in industry and households. It is these products that we presented at the fair. This is not our first time in Novi Sad, and the interest of visitors in what we're offering is truly great – the company says for eKapija.
As they say, Serbia is an entirely new market for them, so they are searching for partners in the country.
– Two years ago, we managed to enter the Serbian market through a local partner, but we only have a minimal presence. We have an interest to expand and we are looking for partners which which we could do business. Aside from Serbia, we are also looking for partners in the region – Croatia, B&H, Bulgaria and other surrounding countries – Meccanica Industriale says.
The Belardi pumps are present in north Africa, eastern Europe (Poland only) and western Europe (Spain only). The Balkans is now a market which is very interesting for Meccanica Industriale and where they plan to expand their operations.
(Giampiero Melilla) The company MB Plast, which produces microsystems for irrigation, also showed an interest in the Serbian market. This is the so-called drop-by-drop equipment and is meant for water distribution in all spheres of agriculture.
– The headquarters of our company are in Rome, but we are present everywhere where there's a problem with irrigation – north Africa, the Middle East, some European countries and Peru – Giampiero Melilla of MB Plast says for our portal.
As he points out, this is the company's first presentation in Serbia, where they would like to find partners and business associates.
– Serbia is an excellent market, as it has a very well developed agriculture. Also, the agriculturists have excellent technological knowledge when it comes to these irrigation systems. We had several very interesting meetings at the fair in Novi Sad and we hope that we will soon have the opportunity to enter the Serbian market as well – eKapija's interviewee said.
