Serbia and Hungary agree construction of vegetable processing plant in Backa Topola

A considerable intensification of the cooperation between Serbia and Hungary, especially in the segment of investments in the food industry and the opening of new processing capacities in Serbia, was agreed at a meeting between Serbian Agriculture Minister Branislav Nedimovic and Hungarian Foreign Affairs Minister Peter Szijjarto in Backa Topola.

The first next project will be the construction of a vegetable processing plant in Backa Topola, the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry says in a press release.


It was also agreed at the meeting for the agreements on the construction of three to four new capacities for the processing of fruit and vegetables in central and south Serbia to be finalized over the next month.
