The implementation of fees in Kosovo costs Serbia more than EUR 500 million annually, Marko Djuric says.

At a press conference, Djuric, the head of the government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, called the statement of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, who said that the damage is only worth several million euros, untrue.

He added that Pristina representatives should provide an answer to who is responsible for smuggling in the territory of Kosovo, which Thaci also mentioned.

– Since he mentioned smuggling, which does exist, a competent institution should answer who enables the smuggling of enormous amounts of goods through North Macedonia to Kosovo and which companies profit the most from the imposition of fees on Serbian goods – Djuric said.
