Regional agreement on reduced roaming prices signed in Belgrade – Calls abroad cheaper by 27% from July 1, 2019
The agreement was signed by the representatives of six Western Balkans countries. Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Rasim Ljajic signed the agreement on behalf of Serbia.
During the first phase that begins on July 1 roaming prices will be 27% lower and from July 1, 2021 roaming tariffs should be removed in Western Balkans countries.
According to the agreement the price of one minute will not exceed RSD 22.4 without the VAT, or seven dinars for a text message and RSD 21.2 for data transfer per megabyte.
When it comes to roaming calls in Albania, the reduction amounts to as much as 85% because Albania has so far not been a part of the Agreement that Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina signed back in 2014.
