Nikola Tesla Airport concession pronounced European transaction of the year in airport category

The Nikola Tesla Airport concession has been pronounced the European transaction of 2018 in the airport category at IJGlobal Awards, concerning infrastructural financing projects.

– In order for a transaction to receive this acknowledgment, the companies in question need to have been especially active in the past calendar year and highly rated by international experts in the given industries – the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure announced.

The concession agreement was signed by Serbian Transport Minister Zorana Mihajlovic and representatives of the French company Vinci in March 2018.

The total value of the 25-year concession agreement is around EUR 1.5 billion, of which EUR 732 million are investments.
