Companies from Serbia and countries of the Western Balkans were invited this Friday, March 15, 2019, to apply for the job of a supplier for German companies and thereby become a part of the regional project, held this year on June 6 in Dortmund.

The invitation for taking part in the regional B2B project “German Initiative for Finding Suppliers in the Western Balkans States”, carried out for the fifth year in a row, was sent by the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Serbia), representations of the German economy in the Western Balkans countries (AHK), the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS), as well as the German Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics (BME e.V).

Over 50 German companies have already confirmed their participation in the project which aims to have German companies find producers from the targeted fields in Serbia and countries of the Western Balkans, AHK says in a press release.

Interested German companies come primarily from the metalworking sector, the car industry supply sector and the plastic materials production and processing sector. Some companies also come from the electrical and the electronic sectors.

The profiles of the interested German companies are available at AHK Serbia's website, which also features an application form.

The application deadline is March 29.

The project and the gathering in Dortmund are realized under the sponsorship of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, as part of the Program for the Development of Foreign Markets for SMEs in Germany.
