EU to grant 10.5m EUR for cross-border cooperation projects of Romania and Serbia - deadline for submission of draft projects is July 29, 2009
The Ministry of Finance of Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Regional Development and Residence of Romania have announced the first call for submission of draft projects within the scope of Romania-Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme, which is financed from EU's Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance for 2007/2008 and co-financed by countries participants in the Programme.
Total amount of available EU's funds for this call is about 10.5m EUR, while the deadline for submission of draft projects is July 29, 2009.
- Draft projects can be submitted by all juristic, non-profitable persons who are registered on the territory included by the programme: North Banat, Central Banat, South Banat, Braničevo and Bor regions in Serbia, as well as the regions of Timiš, Karaš Severin and Mehedinci in Romania - said Gordana Lazarević, the Assistant to the Minister of Finance of Serbia.
